This passed me by but just noticed that this match lasted over 4 hours. Must be the longest match for a British woman this year? There were 236 points (averaging over 7 points a game). But narrowly losing to someone who is camped out here, top 400 and who had reached the final last week and the SF for the previous 2 weeks, is an excellent effort. Well done Jizel. Good effort.
Yes, I noted the score a little in the first set - and thought there was a mistake - at some point it was still 1-1 and 40-40 or whatever and they'd played 25 mins or so - the match on the other court was about onto its second set
