According to the entry list, only the top 46 are given direct entry, so Naomi and Jade have to go through qualifying.

Naomi got a walkover through rd1 as her opponent withdrew injured prior to the match.

She plays Austrian 14th seed Melanie Klaffner in rd2.

I think that she'll have qualified if she wins

Poor Naomi, she must be so gutted right now How did she lose from that position, apparently she was 40-0 up on serve at 5-3 aswell ! She must have just got tight as if she'd taken one of those points she'd be into the RG juniors main draw.

Hopefully she recovers ok from the defeat and she can learn from it when she's next in a similar situation
