But at the expense of going into AO qualifying cold? I'm never sure it's a good idea to take the bench warmer spot in the UC if you're playing qualifying the next week without any match play in the new season.

GB are in Group F with Australia and a yet to be announced team (groups of 3).

Which means Katie and Alex DM will be on opposing sides in that match.

 I meant from a teams and cheering perspective, tbh, realise it is less likely they would be on opposing physical sides of the net!

Looks like Joe Salisbury has been replaced by Charles Broom in our team , going by the wiki teams lists. Presumably Joe and Neal will be entering an ATP as a pair together along with the other top British players in doubles.

 Saw that - I guess all the other realistic options, eg Evo, Jubb etc are all entered into one or other atp or challenger event?

Apparently we can't call up replacement, so it's down to Billy. Looks like Jake will be playing Davis Cup though.
