As I recall, Emma's main journey towards top tennis started with a J5 she won at age 13 (nearly 14)
So Dani Britton deserves a thread
She's born at the end of November so it very young for the year, and only a couple of months older than some of the best 2011s
She's a tall girl, and because of that, perhaps, a little slow to react or move, at times. But she's got a lot of power. And also can take the ball out of the air, can volley, do drop shots
She's been part of the LTA's 'elite' team for a while
Last week she won her first ITF title, the doubles at the J30 in Latvia
This week, she's gone one better and won the singles title
Great start. Interested to see how she does this week in Liverpool. We have the opportunity of a Dani vs Megan SF but both would need to reach that first.

In the above, Daniella lost to Megan in three sets
But she has now broken into the top-500
JWR 480 (+83)
Using calendar years, that makes her 24th in the world for her age (there are 22 girls born in 2010 above her, and 2 born in 2011). However, Dani is born at the end of the year and six months, say, can make quite a lot of difference at this age (not only in terms of growth and tennis, but simply in terms of number of events allowed to be played)
