Out of interest, the entry level for the Glasgow M25 seems much stronger than Edgbaston, the previous week. Brits and non Brits. Why would this be? Is it just that players havent dropped out yet and it will reduce over the next week?

Sorry, I dont tend to follow these details too closely?

Glasgow withdrawal deadline is Tuesday - there will be a lot of changes then - I'd expect at least a dozen out of main draw and qualifying based on their entry priorities.

Ok thanks - and you can see the entry priorities on the ITF site entry list? I should know this but tend to dip in and out of detail like this, ask the question, retain it mentally for about a day and forget it again ( a day? an hour! ) haha

Now - when I look at ITF entry list for Glasgow it doesnt show anything about priorities - just the players name and rank and where they sit in the list. Where is the priority noted/ shown?

It's there on the website, but if you are looking on your phone it might not show. See the attached snippet

Plenty of withdrawals in Glasgow - eg. George Loffhagen is now in the main draw

With our women, after all the withdrawals the Glasgow entry list overall is now a bit weaker than the previous week's Shrewsbury list. Currently Sonay, Marni and Jodie are on the MD list and we have 9 on the qualifying list, down to Katherine Barnes ( entry ranking 907 ).

According to something I saw in a rare foray into tennis forum, Sonay is entered into the 125 event in Tampico next week

www.abiertotampico.com/2024/2024/10/11/las-estrellas-del-tenis-internacional-se-dn-cita-en-el-abierto-de-tampico-2024/

See this article where Sonay is mentioned.
