There were a lot of available slots in the main draw and in qualifying and it looks as if Eden has missed out by one place. She is entered for the doubles here, but not with Tara, who entered with someone else but was an automatic withdrawal. Emily W-S is there, but not showing on the acceptance list for doubles.
Eden didn't sign in for qualifying. She would have made it in. EWS missed out by 3 places.
Eden hasn't played singles since Eastbourne, although she should have been in qualifying last week and has not signed in for this week. Is she carrying a slight niggle or not interested in singles?
My understanding is that Eden will get prize money for the round reached but as the first round was not completed, no points will be awarded and the tournament will not count as a tournament played.
