It was sort of understandable why they stuck together for the grass (for WCs) and sometimes teams dont give things enough time, but clearly this just doesnt work on court.
Apparently Barnett and Christie have won 14 games in 5 tournaments.
Since they paired up in May, they have won one match and lost 8. I make the games slightly different, but (ignoring the three matche sagainst the world's best) the scores tell the same tale.
Clay - won one and lost two. games 30-32
Grass - won none, lost 4 - games 12 (did include 2 matches against Mertens/Hsieh and one against Dabrowski/Routliffe)
Incidently, Lissey is down 28 to 171 in the latest rankings whilst Freya is UP 2 to 139. Maia is up 3 to 71 (original posts are all on old rankings)
With rankings this low it's hardly surprising they are losing matches when they play WTA events. This level is clearly too high for them, and whilst they no doubt enjoy the bigger tournaments they need to drop down a level or two if they want to start winning matches.

I agree. Lissey was OK at WTA level when she partnered Liv (they won 5 titles including a 250), but her level (and ranking) has gone down and I don't think Freya is good enough for WTA events. I watched them play Harriet and Greet Minnen at Surbiton and they were comfortably beaten 3 and 3, whereas the previous year Lissey and Liv beat Harriet and Heather 1 and 6 on the same court.
