Anyone else here compete in these Leagues?  The cost recently went from £18 a session to £21 but the user experience has plummeted. It was always two up two down where possible but is now apparently totally random so that in numerous cases in my Local Lge (Richmond) the winner has stayed put whilst the runner up has either been promoted or in my case demoted. Other players who have lost all their games have stayed but players above them have been relegated.

The LTA promote WTN but players with no such rating or rated very low are placed straight into Div1 and are often out of their depth.

 Clearly the leagues are formatted using an algorithm rather than a human.

Basically now unless you just want to meet up and play random players of whatever standard its not fit for purpose.

Im wondering if this is the same in your LTA Local Laegue area?
