Yes, it has been a great shame that he has been out for so long after such a good start to the year.

I'm not expecting much from him in RG qualies, starting cold on what is his least favourite surface I presume, but I'm hoping for a good grass season.

Probably Anne Keothavong, if she`s not still involved in WTA Strasbourg. Elena Baltacha is injured (back) and I don`t think anyone else made the cut.

I take it Alex is playing the qualifiers? By my reckoning he will be about 19th seed when the draw is made tonight

Happy birthday Alex !!!!

Good luck in RG qualies and for the rest of 2006. I hope you get the wildcards which you deserve during the grass court season and that you can continue your brilliant start to the year.

Hopefully Alex's injury is pretty much sorted now, it's been troubling him since Februray. Siobahn says that he's been treating it with electrodes and that he's been practising a lot on clay in the last few weeks. There's been some doubt on other message boards over whether Alex will actually play this week but I think that it's pretty much certain unless he sustains an injury in the next 24 hours.

We should have two representatives in the qualies here, Boggo and Arvind Parmar.
