With a title this week, it looks like Katie could reach 27th. Jack with a title could reach 26th; cam is 28th. Anyone of the 3 could be our highest ranked player on Monday, just maybe. Odds with Cam, but nonetheless.

Super by Katie, and yes great on the big points.

Converted 5 of her 6 BPs and saved 6 of the 8 that she faced. So of the 14 BPs either way, Katie won 11.

I was worried Katie had left points on the table by skipping the Middle East swing but it certainly seems to have been the correct decision. Navarro another player who has improved rapidly over the past year so ought to be a close match.

Wow quite the win.

Im so shocked that Navarro is ranked that high. Hoping Katie can keep going.

If you look at Navarro's record since the US Open you can see she has been winning a lot of matches and generally only losing to the best players .In 2024  she has only lost to  Sakkari, Gauff, Rybakina and Yastremska at the AO  3rd round.  She won Hobart in 2024. She played San Diego in September 2023 were she lost in the semi finals to Kenin.

Katie is playing great tennis right now. Some of that yesterday was definitely top20 level.

The serve was a bit off but the backhand seems to have improved a lot.

Navarro is playing well too but Katie has the better serve and their forehands are similar. I think Katie has a chance to really go after Navarro's second serve and I think she will win.

Katie is on a big upwards curve right now and if not by Wimbledon then by the US Open will be seeded.
