Unusual for Felix to be off the clay! Is he playing a few Indian events in succession?

Unusual for Felix to be off the clay! Is he playing a few Indian events in succession?

After this event there is one more challenger in India in New Delhi. Felix is currently in the qualifying list for that.

I don't know anything about his opponent in the next round but it looks from the rankings like he has decent odds for progressing further.
