Favourite British Tennis Player - 2024 - Round One Group A

Last done 12 months or so ago and run several times over the past 4 years.

This our quest to find the boards favourite British player

64 players - 8 groups of 8 in total.

Sorry if your faves are all in one group, luck of the draw!!

Groups include 4 men and 4 women, a mix of singles and doubles players (I have roughly taken the top 20 men and womens singles players, top 10 mens and womens doubles and added one or two in to get 32 men and 32 women).

Top 3 and ties will get through to the semis. The 24 players in the semis will be in 3 groups of 8, from which 6 players will go to a final

Vote will close Tuesday evening around 6 pm.

This is a bit of fun, so vote for your favourite, cheer lead, say why, give scores updates - try and influence others! And in a few days time, a favourite will be crowned

Tough choices! I voted for Kyle as, like Jon, I'd love to see him back at the top and I always enjoyed watching him play.

(If I'd had a second vote, I would have voted for Cam, largely for his resilience and willingness to make changes to improve his game.)

I went with Mimi - other than Andy, I'm going with mostly youngsters with big potential.

Worth noting - I have set the timer to close each of these votes. This group finishes at 1756 tomorrow. The other groups are in turn around 30 seconds later each as I had to turn the timer on manually in each one, so Group H is at 1800.

But don't take a chance if you are a last minute Charlie - assume all 8 groups close at 1756 or earlier and you will be alright to get your vote counted!

You've been warned!

I've always had a soft spot for Katy Dunne so voted for her.  Possibly slightly influenced by seeing her pull off a good win this morning.
