Week 6 - ATP 250 - Open 13 Provence - Marseille, France (indoor hard)

L28:  Tomas Machac (CZE) WR 66 (CH = 64 last October) vs Andy Murray WR 49 (CH = 1 in November 2016)

Hurkacz is the top seed.

Machac will be quite tough on indoor courts for Andy, but I guess they are all tough at the moment

Stircrazy, I think Mahcac is currently at WR 66 and his CH last October was 64.

Ah yes, I'd just seen that Andy had played and lost.

Think folk on here are just letting him quietly go about his business for now.

Only caught second set, Andy looked slow about the court to be honest.

The matches I've seen him play in the last year above challenger level, he's consistently seemed half a pace too slow to a lot of balls, so that's not surprising to hear. Let's hope he can figure out how to get the magic back.

Machac beat Musetti for loss of 5 games. Guess we need to keep perspective re Andy - note to self.

It doesn't mean that Andy was moving any quicker than folk have been saying.
