February 2024 Player of the Month Nominations Thread


Just in time! Usual process, nominations below. Anyone can add a name, just add them to the list and give a reason, just quote the last list or copy it and add a name , tidy it up and post away! 

February cut off date is 3rd March, so this is a 5 week process. End of week 9 of the season.

As no one else has I'm going to nominate Heather.

1 - Jodie Burrage for reaching the quarter finals of the WTA500 in Linz from qualifying, including getting through some tough moments with composure.

2 - Felix Gill for reaching the semi final of an ATP Challenger 75 - on clay - beating 2 seeds & other higher ranked players on the way

 But probably worthy of a narrative upgrade to reflect details as the week progresses, I would suggest!
