R1:- Katy Dunne (GBR) WR372 def Eunhye Lee (KOR) WR773 [LL] 1-6 7-5 6-1

L16:- Katy Dunne (GBR) WR372 v Carson Branstine (CAN) [Q] WR902 (CH468 in 2019)

Branstine has just put out the second seed, Alice Robbe, 6-2 6-0
Robbe appears to have a problem since her serving statistics were very poor - only 33% first serves in and only 4 points won from those (and 4/26 on second serve with14 DF)

Carson Branstine was the player who recently beat Ranah in the W15 final in Tunisia, I think it was

And people posted about her as an amazingly talented player who's been to college but had serious injury problems, or something like that (I seem to remember)

Yes, it was her - back to back W15 titles in November. Went to college in the US but only played a couple of seasons due to injury (wiki)

Anna's poor form continues lost first 3-6 and lost her serve first game of second set.

Anna is struggling against the 18 year old - a set and a break down. The 18 year old has a JCH of 20 so is probably better than her ranking would suggest.

Katy and Maddy are on court, but playing Alts.

She's had 4 surgeries on her hips and knees over the last few years; the hip surgeries in 2021 and last year to correct impingements that are thought to be the cause of the string of injuries she's suffered from.

Great win in the doubles, though, over the top seeds

QF:- Madeleine Brooks (GBR) / Katy Dunne (GBR) CR1109 (283+816) def. Yasmine Mansouri (FRA) / Marie Weckerle (LUX) CR623 (243+380) [1] 6-4 6-2

We tend to forget that Katy has a doubles CH of 135 from 2018, but has played very few matches over the last couple of years with her injury problems. If she'd managed to get back to around WR300 they woud have been the top seeds here.

Still, it's a good win and a good scoreline.

The Chinese pair are next, who have just put out the #4 seeds 1 & 4

SF:- Madeleine Brooks (GBR) / Katy Dunne (GBR) CR1109 (283+816) v Jiaqi Wang (CHN) / Chengyiyi Yuan (CHN) CR1137 (484+653)
