By popular demand - or demand at least - here is a thread for Dec 23 nominations. I see quite a few from week one that might be added.
I believe News Years eve is a Sunday, so the nominations period will end Sunday 31st December and the vote will go up shortly thereafter - I will need to decide if it goes up New Years Eve, New Years day or the 2nd Jan - depends on how my schedule turns out!!
This vote in turn will count to the 2024 Player of the Season/Year Vote
Put your nomination below and a reason!

1. Hannah Klugman - for reaching the final of the prestigious orange bowl championship.
Ive not followed the details of men or women this week, and whether any finals have been won - I see the J100 event in Loughborough led to some Brits winning (Henry J and Hannah Rylatt?); Im not sure re titles at ITF level yesterday? Today we seem to have Jay in the hunt for singles and with James McKinlay in doubles, Heather for doubles and she had a great singles week as well. Freya lost her doubles final overnight but still a good show for her. Looking properly for the first time just now, I see Kat Barnes also had a good week this week and Paul Jubb continues to make progress.
Maybe one or two others to add to Hannah from the list above or others Ive missed?
As CD said, some months are skinnier that others - but play in December dwindles generally after this week - the ATP is stopped, WTA has just a WTA125 and ITF Juniors circuit stops today. So, with just a few events in the ITF mens and womens circuits to come it might be worth considering the players from this week so we get a few on the list to vote for!

1. Hannah Klugman - for reaching the final of the prestigious orange bowl championship, aged 14.
2. Heather Watson - for reaching the SF of the W100 in Dubai and only losing by a whisker; and the final in the doubles; for playing really well and giving us all a lot of pleasure at seeing Hev back, hitting that ball
3. Kat Barnes - for getting her third counter, and a WTA ranking, by making the QFs, beating well ranked players along the way
4. Hannah Rylatt - for winning the J100 at Loughborough, even though she was only 6th seed
CD beat me to nominating Heather (I was waiting for the result of her final today) so I've added to her narrative, as I believe last week's heroics in Andorra also count for Dec PoM.

Feels to me like Hannah Ks narrative needs a little update? Im afraid I dont really know the detail other than she did well and she won, but maybe someone could say a little more by editing the above and reposting ? Please ?

As well as the ITF events this week and a few next, and the younger age group Orange Bowl, the LTA British Tour is active this month with the Tour Masters this week, the Tennis Scotland Finals next week; the. There is a Premier Tier event in Loughborough before Xmas as well and a tier 2 in Graves, Sheffield, before new year.
So although the ITF schedule is skinny, British Tour is worth keeping an eye on.
Updated Heather's nomination a bit to reflect the #1 spot. Am keeping my eye on what Maia gets up to in Limoges in the hopes she can be nominated too.
