A shout out to German Christoph Negritu who after a rain delayed tournament was still to finish his singles quarter final as of this morning. After starting a set and 3-1 up he polished off that match, won his semi final in three sets before losing in the final comfortably. However he was not yet done as he then came out to win his doubles quarter final, semi final and is currently playing the final for his SIXTH match of the day.

Negritu understandably retired in his sixth - and his opponents first - match of the day. Still, must be a record.

That is quite the shift! Hopefully he hasnt done himself an injury as although I applaud him for playing in the doubles to not let down his partner The chance of injury for playing so much is a bit ill advised.
