Doubles isn't scheduled to start until Wednesday, so the draw may not be made for a day or two.

Well it looks like only 8 pairs in the draw so it won't take long to complete the competition!!!

And to keep JonH on tenterhooks I can confirm that Maia is in Andorra

Ah ha - one part of the jigsaw is in place; but is Heather playing doubles, thats the big question!?

actually, if Heather does play doubles and takes the title, just say, what round would Maia need to reach to retain the top spot at the end of this event? Given its an 8 pair draw, presumably you need to reach the final to get decent points?

And the topic is interesting our Singapore bot friends, as there are thousands of them here this evening! Up to 12000 users in the site and all of the front page from Singapore !

I think Im correct - IF Heather is playing doubles, shes got to reach the final at least to overtake Maia this week. If the reaches final, Maia still retains top with a semifinal; if Heather takes the title, Maia needs to reach the final to retain top spot. Is that correct ?

The points are 160, 95, 57, 1 so any match win is decent by ITF standards. I reckon that if Heather plays (which I am still doubtfull) and wins, then she just pips Maia to the top spot regardless of how well Maia does. This partly due to Heather's lowest counter being just 1 point, so she has plenty to gain.

And the bots are only in the 300's - the 12000 is the last 24 hours.
