Marni lost the 1st set 2-6 but fought back in the 2nd, finishing it off with two aces. She has so far served 12 aces. 2-6 6-4 0-0*

Its 11.30pm in Italy and Marnie has just won the second set to force a decider. Hope she can keep going for one more set. Its far too late to be playing matches at this level IMHO, but not surprising when they schedule 7 singles matches on one court!

Marni's difficulty in this match was converting break points, she had about twice the number of her opponent but only converted the same number.

The ITF site shows her as retiring during the 6th game of the second set when 1-6 1-4* down.
