Ryan a set up and 4-4 in the second but hes really struggling with a knee injury and his second serve is coming down with snow on it.

SF:  Abdullah Shelbayh (JOR) WR 274 defeated Ryan Peniston WR 197 by 4-6 6-4 6-3  cry

The knee injury must have made the difference. hmm  That said, Ryan stuck it out for two hours & 50 minutes.

Ryan lost but my respect for him just increased tenfold. What an effort when clearly hampered by injury.

Doubt we will see him next week.

Ryan lost in 3. Really seemed to be struggling with both his knee and the warm conditions. Shame, a good opportunity here but then again, when a challenger semi final is a shame, it speaks of how well his has been playing.

Luke & Skander s!  biggrin

Final:  (2) Luke Johnson & Skander Mansouri (TUN) CR 287 (126+161) defeated (ALT) Nicholas Bybel & Oliver Crawford (USA/USA) UNR (562+0) by 4 & 4

Ryan would have faced Crawford in the singles final, had he managed to overcome Shelbayh.

Luke now showing at career high #123 on live rankings so getting closer to cracking the top 100.
