One of my children (now age 30) has a passport to a country that he's never been to in his whole life and one to a country where he was there for about 6 months - nationality is not the same as 'where you're from'

Of course not but it's a reasonable question (if you're nosy like me smile ) as to why you'd want to play for GB if you could play for USA).

Yes. I wouldn't buy one (well, I might possibly if I were in that position, I guess) but experience has shown me that if you're entitled to one somewhere, take it.

Just look at people stranded during lockdown, three passports, say, means three times the chance that some government will step in and help you out (which if you're depending otherwise solely on the British government isvery helpful!)

Yes I wish I had options like that. Unfortunately my Irish ancestor is a GGM not a GM. But I would definitely have more than one passport if possible.

My Irish is even more diluted than that - many great greats. But I'm 5 years out from being a Kiwi and that will do me (can also move to Aussie freely).
