No thread for Montreal yet  but Katie B  and Jodie could meet in the second round of qualifying if they both get through the  first round of qualifying.

Freya, Maia and Naiktha are in quakfying in the WTA125 in Poland. Not sure if Lissey and Liv are out there as well, but there should be at least two pairs in the doubles.

A few interesting rankings items this week.

Mens singles - Jack D out of top 100 and live 122; Liam is live 123 and will overtake Jack as British number 4 with only 1 round win this week

Mens doubles - Lloyd down to live 22 and will lose more points over next few weeks. Could struggle to come out of US Open top 20 for sure, which would be a blow given hed just made top 10 a few weeks back. Shows how hard it is to keep your place in the 12 months cycle

Womens doubles - Alicia and Liv and Naiktha and Maia are looking neck and neck on the 5 week ranking forecast - that looks an interesting battle for the top spot post US Open.

Womens singles - Katie and Jodie dont have many points off through the Open. Katie could secure a season ending playing in the top level events if she can keep top 50 position. And Jodie could certainly secure top 100 through season end if she can settle down in the next few weeks.
