To put Mimi's match yesterday into some sort of perspective, I see that Storm Hunter has just beaten Avanesyan, the top seed, in two tie-break sets.

I thought AB was going down when it was 2-5 in the tie break but she's come through it. True grit.

In a parralell universe maybe... But I like the reverse psychology!

The girl has only gone and done it! What a performance. She was so solid, super hitting, great winners into the space, placed her serve very well. Couldn't ask for better against a very good opponent!

What a brilliant tiebreak. Didn't let her head drop at *2-5 down and played four great points to get into a winning position. Played with no nerves when she was pegged back and faced a SP.

So, so well deserved.
