Tough first round for Lloyd & Harri, against a pair who are 13th in the Race, and who have beaten pretty much every top pair this year.

There seem to be fewer tricky singles players in the draw here than often is the case, so some good chances for everyone.

Joe and Henry and Julian must be Wednesday

Jamie and Michael won the opener 7-6 and a break at 4-3 up in the second. Looks a battle but on top, at least

We havent had a semi finalist in the mens doubles at the French Open since John Feaver in 1982 and a winner since Pat Hughes and Fred Perry in 1933.

Well we had three in the quarter finals last year so you would have thought we had the numbers then but that didnt work out too well.

John Feaver, if I recall, was a big server and more a singles player - from Dorset or Devon?
