So no Katie B. Do we know why? Did she not make the cut or did she withdraw?

She probably didn't make the cut, I think Heather used a WC to get in.

Heather appears to be in directly according to the draw sheet which, if correct, means Boulter withdrew.

Heather was given a wildcard but maybe didn't need it in the end. Katie B is on the entry list for the 40k in Slovenia.

Katie S surely a clear favourite against Harriet, but a loss for Haz would be another confidence blow really. Tough, but she did lose 6 matches after Indian Wells last year, so chances to get the ranking going back in the right direction.

Heather WAS given a wild card into qualifying according to the official Miami website - one of 6 QWC's. But it doesn't show on the draw, and there are only 5 QWC's noted.
Darts isn't showing any women's tennis at all at the moment.

I heard was that Emma had been given a WC for the main draw and Heather a WC for the Q draw, but the very latest was that Emma got in without needing her WC so maybe the same happened to Heather.

Heather is in without a WC. There is at least 1 player below her in the entry list also in without a WC. None of the players that entered between Katie S and Heather signed in, so she ended up being next in after Katie S.

Katie B has not yet withdrawn from the W40 in Maribor so may have decided to play there instead.

Heather versus Muchova is tough
Jodie versus Errani, middling, had to be a seed and 12 of 24 is middling

Swan v Dart is as good they could hope for really, both could win.and makes for fascinating watching for us!

I'd say Jodie has a real good shot against errani. Sara is now 35 and still has one of the worst serves ever seen on the WTA tour.

Has she been eating her mums bolognese sauce though ?

This is going to be fun. There are a few points to prove. Are you watching Annie?

Errani always been more a force on clay especially these days. Quite an unpleasant woman on the court also, I always want her opponent to win
