2023 - Who is your favourite British Player? Round One Group A

Last done 3 years ago. Let's see who supercedes Dan Evans as the Boards favourite player. 

 

60 players - 6 groups of 10 in total. 

 

Sorry if your faves are all in one group, luck of the draw!! 

Groups include 5 men and 5 women, a mix of singles and doubles players (6 or 7 singles from the GB Top 20's per group, 3 or 4 from the top 10 doubles players per group). 

Top 3 and ties will get through to the semis. 

Vote will close in 24 hours ie Tuesday night at 9.40 pm

Note - players taken from pro rankings ie no juniors like Hannah or Mimi or Phoenix as they arent ranked high enough as seniors; no wheelchair players either.

My only comment is that the draw has worked out rather badly for me as there are three groups with 4 possibles for me and three with only one or two !
But I'm not revealing who or why at this stage in the voting - I'm sure you can guess !

 haha - indeed, I probably can!

The semis will only get harder - no positioning of men and women or singles and doubles. The groups will be decided by round one positions and seeded on that basis - there will be a nice spread of winners, second places and third places across the groups and I will avoid players ending up in the same groups as round one! But it could be all men in one group or all women, we will see how it lands!
