So here we are: voting will close Tuesday night at 11pm so be aware of that!
just vote for your favourite and remember to try and say who and why you voted for that nominee. It makes it a lot more interesting!
Nominated players and the reason for nomination
1. GB Davis Cup Team - for their victory in a difficult away tie in Colombia to qualify for the group stages of the event.
2. Oliver Bonding (born 2007) - winner of the J300 event (old J1) in Colombia, and the first at this level for a GB boy since Jack PJ won at Roehampton in 2021, and first outside the UK since Jack PJ again in Plovdiv in 2020
3. Liam Broady - winner of the Challenger 100 in Vilnius - his second challenger title with the previous one being in 2021 - and qualified for ATP250 Doha beating Basilashvili in FQR.
4. Jamie Murray - winner of the ATP 250 Dallas doubles title with Michael Venus, 28th title at at least ATP tour level, and now 11 years in a row that he has achieved at least one such title.
5. Freya Christie and Ali Collins for their W60 win at Grenoble, and W60 Final in Germany.
6. Hannah Klugman, who at 13 years of age, made the quarter-finals of a J200 event in Germany, and a week or so later WON the J200 in Lithuania, beating the top seed. (And was runner-up in the doubles). Putting her well inside the top 100 (probably about 70) in the world juniors, despite her young age. A real star in the making!
7. Andy Murray - for doing 'Andy Murray' things. Reaching the final of the ATP 250 Doha, saving match points in two matches on the way.
8. Fran Jones - after a long absence is back in business getting several comfortable wins at 25k and ultimately losing more to the heat than to her opponent
9. Emilie Lindh - winning the W15 doubles title in Sharm w partner Udvardy
10. Cam Norrie - for doing Andy Murray things. In a clay month for him, he won his 2 Davis Cup matches in Colombia, lost the ATP 250 Buenos Aires final to Carlos Alcaraz, but then got revenge in the ATP 500 Rio final after losing the first set and being a break down in both the second and third sets.

Well- Andy caught my eye for Pom and deserves lots of credit; Hannah passed me by initially but I feel actually was v close. But it comes down to Liam or Cam. Liam excited me and until today would have taken my vote but Cams month of work, capped by an ATP500 title win over Alcaraz and all on clay, with a 10-1 record on the month.
I knew exactly who I would vote for this month....until I saw Cam's result this morning!
Liam was my winner by a mile (ok, maybe a bit less than that once Andy had performed his heroics last week!)
But now Cam is also demanding my vote...
Hmm I can't decide yet!
Desperately wanted to vote for Liam, but Cam just keeps moving forwards (under the radar a bit at times) and his victory against Alcaraz on clay swung the vote in his favour for me.
Thanks all and sorry for the late vote posting time.
7 votes in so far.
Ill post the odd update but it wont be too many . Because I posted this in the middle of the night , I havent set an automatic time close this time so it will end a little more organically around 11 pm GMT tomorrow night, but it will be give or take! Probably give !
Difficult choice. Earlier in the month I thought Id vote for the DC team. Whilst rankings should have indicated a win, it was an away tie at altitude on clay so not in any way a walk in the park. However, Cam has excelled this month so gets my vote.
Was a tough one. Was between Liam, Hannah & Cam for me. If Andy had won his final I'd probably be voting for him. But ended up going for Cam a couple of good weeks back to back and then to beat the Alcaraz on Clay even if he was hampered, he was still very dangerous.
