R1: DART, Harriet (GBR) 104 (CH=84 2022) v ANDREESCU, Bianca (CAN) (1) 42 (CH=4 2019) 

They have played three times before with Harriet winning in 2016 and Bianca winning in 2016 and 2021

R1: BOULTER, Katie (GBR) 121 (CH=82 2019) v JANG, Su Jeong (KOR) 149 (CH=114 2022) 3-6 6-4 3-6

R1: WATSON, Heather (GBR) 160 (CH=38 2015) v PUTINTSEVA, Yulia (KAZ) (2) 44 (CH=27 2017) 

They have played three times before with Yulia winning in 2014 and 2018 and Heather winning in 2015.

 

It's unfortunate that we drew both 1st and 2nd seeds.

Unfortunate to draw the top two seeds in a fairly weak 250. Especially for Harriet who could have done with at least 30 points from this week.

Katie struggling a bit to get a rhythm in her serving. In her first service game she had two double faults, a foot fault and a couple of first serve misses, and was understandably broken. She's now got one game on the board 1-3 down still though.

Frankly a terrible first set from Katie though she did start to come back into it a little towards the end.

Wind is making life tricky and still time for Katie to turn it round but needs her serve to work better. Jang really doesn't have much of a game at the moment.

Much more solid service game from Katie to take the first game of the second set. Hopefully she's regained her rhythm after ending the first set a bit more solidly, even though she lost it 3-6.
