Chidekh won last week, got in via a SE and may well get another SE for Sunderland.

He will soar into the post Aus Open top 500 to add to France's top 500 count. They have 48  in the current rankings.

Shame for Ewan and Hamish - I think they had at least 4 match points - maybe more....

Yeah they had at least three from what I saw in the 2nd set tiebreak. Think they lead 6-3 in that tiebreak.

SF:  (Q) Daniel Little WR 823 defeated (SE) Clément Chidekh (FRA) WR 635 by 6-2 1-6 7-6(2)  biggrin

I was convinced that Chidekh was going to pull off his usual trick & bounce back to win it after he took the second set.

I made this his first M25 Semi Final, after 3 M15s, and now is first final at either level. Great week him.

Meanwhile, Charlie and Ali are one set all (both tie breakers) and Charlie is a break up in the final set

Are we expecting a clean sweep for Charlie? Or might he have a little difficulty getting to the finishing line?

 Yeah, I know.....biggrin

But I'm pretty useless at these - other people see clever ones really quickly - so that was my best effort no

(I mean, I did wonder Charlie might bristle if calls go against him, and give the umpire a bit of stick - but I decided to let it drop there so be grateful biggrin)

Think they should clean the court with a small brush.

Or a little broom..
