Anyone who looks at these things, Julian and Henry cant be far off starting to get close to playing ATP Tour level events, this season possibly? Anyone have an idea how far they might typically be off a 250 field?

Of course the guys are doing great in doubles but it is liable to impact shortly on Henry's singles ranking quite apart from having been missing opportunities to improve it.

He was entered for singles here and his ranking would have been good enough to get into qualifying but I guess going all the way in doubles again this past week has impacted on that

If he doesn't start adding quite a few singles points he will drop out of the top 500 rankings in November.

Well this weeks cut offs at atp level were 220, 197 & 193. Using the live rankings their current combined is 226. Id say they both need to get in the top 100 to have realistic chances of getting in.

Maybe best to focus on challengers the rest of this season and aim to be in atp Tour level events from January

thanks by the way.

They probably need another 2-3 Challenger titles to get the ranking up to a point of getting into the 250's

Paul Jubb 4-1 up in the final set. Hope I don't jinx it!

Now 5-1 up and serving for the match.

Getting a bit tense now as Jubb loses his serve. Only one break up now. Bit unlucky as one of the points was a net cord that died on the other side of the net. But too many first serves missed.

Now 0-40 though!

Pleased Jubby got through that one. The American's very experienced and could have been a banana skin.

The Colombian beat the Swiss third seed, Stricker (WR 130), by 1 & 3 in his first round match...

Apparently, Holmgren was the runner-up in the NCAA championships this year and only started playing professionally in earnest this summer, so that's not as bad a loss as it looks.
