I've been trying to check this. I can't find any confirmation (Roopa never seems to be mentioned in articles aboutNaiktha) so I assume they're not sisters but an Aussie on tennisforum says he believes they are cousins.

 both seem to be from Queensland, although that doesnt prove anything

Could well be cousins. If I've got the right person she is 20 years old and at the University of Queensland.

Certainly bears a resemblance to Naiktha I think
