Stuart Parker (and Arthur Fery) out of Aldershot field.

Charlie Broom is our only player listed in main draw now although he has Mempis as his priority 1 preference.

So maybe zero direct entries for our men in a couple of weeks time.

As usual plenty drop outs by cut-off so as seagull shows we now have 4 DAs and Dan Little is first alt.

indeed, I always forget that churn. Although 4 still seems fewer than we have recently been used to.

I see these two ITF's in late August are the last ones scheduled according to the ITF site - do we know if any more are planned for Sept-Dec?

This is the last competitions calendar I recall Lambda posted a few months back

https://www.lta.org.uk/495584/siteassets/compete/adult/file/lta-performance-competitions-calendar---pro-players.pdf

It stops at end of August, no idea if they have a more up to date version now?

For the women there is a 25K, 60K and 100K planned for October. I assume there are 3 25Ks for the men. More WC feed up opportunities will be announced this month, so I expect the schedule to be updated with the autumn events within the next couple of weeks

Thank you Lambda. The uk pro league has week 6 at the end of sept/early October, and week 7 is in early Nov , so presumably they are at either end of the three planned itf events you mention. The UKPL finals week follows on a week after the week 7 date i mention above.

Andy is now 3 out from Cinci. Just one wild card left. However, presumably Djoko and Rafa wont play, and there is an SE so Andy make it directly in. Suspect theyll leave last wild card until the last minute to see where things get to.

As a non British aside, I noticed that Filip Peliwo (who won Junior Wimbledon in 2012 and also the 2012 US Open juniors) is playing in Aldershot and Roehampton. He has recently swapped from Canada to Poland , seemingly as a partial result of lockdown during covid, where he based himself in Poland (he is of Polish parentage and fluent also) but also because the top 2 players in Canada (FAA and Shapo) make it hard for him to get sponsorship opportunities or into DC etc, whereas the opportunity will be greater in Poland.

lastwordonsports.com/tennis/2022/05/29/filip-peliwo-still-aiming-high/

Anyway, he will be playing in these two events next week and the week after

Possible WC for Cincy or just pacing himself?

He would have easily got into qualifying if he had entered so I doubt that.  If Andy wants/needs one I would be surprised if 2 Brits got one.

Nakashima and Korda already have 2 of them (plus Kyriagos who wont need it)
