Very good looking win indeed against a player who is at a CH and has very decent recent form.

Incidentally both the WTA and ITF sites have Eden's own CH as 338 from 13th June. This result though though will add a net 4 points which should help move her up a few places back towards that CH.

 Brilliant win - I put 10p against all four GB women today (Matilda, Eden, Anna and Kristina)

I thought Eden's was a gimme - but wrong biggrin

(Matilda and Anna, unfortunately, have proved right - no real surprise for Anna who was obviously the underdog - a lot better odds in the Matilda match, but an experienced Argentinian player, on clay, is always going to set alarm bells ringing - and the odds for Kristina were just daft) 

Well done, Eden - you never know what you're going to get with her tennis......

Great win, and lots of opportunity this week - a WC next, and then two players ranked in the 300s in the QF if she makes it through (although Eala is a 17yo who recently made a 60k final in Madrid).
