Extremely pleased for her - it was a big match at Surbiton and she absolutely should have won it, she was playing well, against a good opponent, it would have been a real lift, but it just got away from her at the end...

So very happy that another tight one went her way 

Given her age, and her style of game, I think Emily should 100% continue with the singles (it will help her doubles, even if that's what she wants to focus on)

And maybe she's better now that she's not with Ali at the moment????
