Not the best draws, but definitely not the worst. Ella is going to really struggle, but all the others have a chance even if it's an outside one. I'd fancy Mimi to upset Chang, and Eden should be looking to beat Harrison I think. Zavatska will be a good test for Ranah, and hopefully Talia can follow her lead and beat Loeb.

I am going to be placing a bet on Mimi, her opponent played a long 3 set 25k final 7-6(5) on the US only yesterday  Fair bet shes not hit a ball on grass yet! Amended - not versus her sister

Fantastic draw for Eden against a doubles specialist.

Mimi's opponent was playing (and losing) and hard court 25k final in South Carolina *yesterday* so a fantastic opportunity for Mimi to catch her while she's jetlagged!

Maia actually has a 3-0 H2H against von Deichmann with straight sets wins in the UK in 2018 and 2019 followed by a much tighter win in France in 2020.

The other match with a H2H is Beth's - she lost to her opponent twice last year, 0&6 in the SFs at Sharm el Sheikh W15 then 3&3 at Le Neubourg W80+H.

Id say bar Ellas draw a lot of these are winnable. Ella has the worst draw wouldnt be surprised to see some
Bakery products but shes there on merit so lets see.

Reckon Maia, SB, Eden and Anna all have good chances so Ill be positive and say those 4 to qualify.

She's obviously massively struggling with just the 5 wins this year, and no real difference on the grass, but what happened to Naiktha? On paper she's still reasonably young and ranked in the 300's - was she never really in QWC contention, or was she invited to the WC playoff, but opted not to play or something?

She missed it because she was playing Ilkley doubles.
