Billy takes the first set on a tiebreak, while Charlie loses the first set after being broken while serving for it at 5-3 up.

Second tie break now, two hours so far, tight old tussle

Don't like this. Riedi had a habit last week of losing the 1st set against Brits and then coming back to win.

2nd set into a TB. Billy was 3-0* up in the TB but back to *3-3

Getting nervous.

Interesting that Leshem got through to the SF after Harrison retired at 0-4.

Charlie beat Leshem in their only other encounter, here at Nottingham, just 4 weeks ago, 4 and 4.

You jinxed him, Jon:

You can come out from behind the sofa, Bob biggrin

Saw the last four points - excellent serves from Billy, at clutch times.

And good returns too

Phew. Made it. Well done Billy.

I may be wrong but I don't think he has won a 25k before, so tomorrow could be another milestone for him.

That win should push Billy into the top 350.

Yes.  They used to room together at Bisham Abbey when they were about 13, so Billy told me.

Billy takes the opening set 6-4. Worth noting he beat Leshem in the previous Nottingham event, opening round, 6-3 6-4 so its keeping fairly consistent.

Billys 4 titles have all been it m15 level , in Antalya for 3 of them and one in Bulgaria.

An M25 and at home would be a nice step up to reflect his ranking level. Come on Billy !
