This appears to be more more ATP skewed but I think also impacts the women from when the changes come into force in 2023:

 With the faster court speed in Madrid that looks a tough draw for Harriet though which Kanepi turns up will have a big say in things. I don't see any reason why Heather doesn't have a fair chance of winning that match.

Harriet and Kaia have met twice before, with Kaia winning 4 & 4 in 2020 in Cherbourg and Harriet winning 6(4) & 3 in Indian Wells in 2022.

Heather played Kristina at Barnstaple in 2013 winning 2&1

The WTA site says that Dart & Kanepi are on court, so I guess they should be starting soon.

Main draw is out. Emma has Martincova, then Tauson/Kostyuk. Mugurza other seed in her section. Tough, but interested to see how she gets on against Martincova a second time round.
