Have no fear he'll be back for RG!

Of course he will.  That 10 weeks away so plenty of time for a 4 to 6 week recovery.

I wonder how the LTA will measure the success of the 4 25ks in Nottingham for the women. Uptake for the first seems a bit low.

You'd have to think players like Eden, Eliz, Sam, Jodie, Naiktha, Tara, Matilda have a great opportunity to rack up a ton of wins and push forward for the grass season. It's not as if any of them are winning lots above 25k level, after all.

Don't agree re the Cup. They wouldn't have anticipated overlap with the GB ''first team'. As it is it still just really effects Sonay and just possibly Katie S

Any issue with the Nottingham field is clearly much more with such as players playing other ITFs such as the France 25+H.

In the Monte Carlo mens doubles, as well as Joe +, Neal + and Jamie +, we have Dan playing with Schwarztman (the average height there will be low - watch out for the lobs lads!) and Cam with AdM.

Lloyd and Harri are alt 14

I was just looking at the junior rankings in the Alts list for Nottingham to see who might get a WC. Of those without a senior ranking Ranah Stoiber looks likely to get another call and then there is Given Roach - a 16 year old with a JCH of 421 who might get a call. There are certainly plenty of juniors in the list from ages 14 upwards.

The first week of Nottingham clashes with the 16U Nationals, so I struggle to see any of the younger juniors getting WCs as they have done in the 25Ks so far this year.

When Heather chose to sit out the BJK Cup (which is unusual for her) I hoped she might be playing the US 100K, but sadly she's not on any entry lists this week. British entries at Nottingham are still sparse with just Jodie and Lily in the MD, but the one bright spot is the return of Katy Dunne who hasn't withdrawn and has made it into qualifying, although she could yet get a WC I guess. I'd like to see Anna Brogan get a WC this week as I don't think she's had one yet and she's definitely been winning matches.

Eden and Freya are also in qualifying, and Eliz is just outside at A6. There are a few more that may yet drop out - Fruhvirtova for one, Lemoine as well. But still a few Brits not on the entry list that could have made the draw
