Week 37 - Davis Cup Finals 2022 (group stage partly in Glasgow 14-18th September)

The beeb are doing a great job hiding the Davis Cup. It says online it will be shown on Iplayer and the BBC Sport website and app but almost nothing else mentioned other than the obvious.
I'm assuming a format of top ranked player submitted for singles first and so on for the singles with dubs representation by the specialists we have selected. I.e. Cam can't play in the second singles as top ranking applies. Cam v Fritz and Evo likely v Paul, I've no Idea what will happen.. Equally the dubs.. Could be 3nil either way..

Order of play

Evo v Tommy Paul
Cam v Taylor Fritz

Joe and Andy versus Ram and Sock

Fifty fifty tie . Neal not playing today for GB.

Dan on court and a game all. Colin Fleming says its a slow, grippy court. Maybe will favour Cam later versus Fritz ?

Pictures suggest a decent crowd - any forum members there ?

Evo lost that opening set to 4. Court proving slower than he likes I think

Interesting. In spite of I believe a not great record together I would have been tempted to go for Joe & Neal but probably a close call.

Fed up with it always being in Glasgow.
We don't all live up north.
About time different parts of the country were chosen.

LOL, you are joking right!?? The entire grass season is in England each and every year.

Also, Glasgow may have been picked because everywhere else had other events on.

Is it possible to grow grass in Scotland ?

Evo takes set 2. I think he has a 2-0 record v Paul and both in 3 sets. Fingers crossed its a third .

Brill, used to be 5, or was that a very long time ago?

don't  know why I said that, 5 would be better
