Yes. I confess I haven't heard of her before either.  But it is being reported that the Tokyo born player currently ranked 206 has switched allegiance and will now play as a British player.

I've seen Lily play quite a lot of times.

And if she's now changed to the UK, that's great and a big WELCOME to her

Lily's qualification for the main draw at Flushing Meadows earlier this evening acknowledged by the Beeb.  Sounds as though she may have a glimmer of a chance in the first round.
