They met at Landisville in 2021 2ith Ekaterine winning 10-7 in the third.

 

Q1: BOULTER, Katie (GBR) 3 134 (CH=82 2019) v CASCINO, Estelle (FRA)  445 (CH=406 2017)

They met at Sharm El Sheikh in 2016 with Estelle winning 5 & 4

It's slipping away from her.

And maybe no consolation but she should be pretty pleased with how she's playing - it's been very competitive so far, even if the last bit ends up being a lot quicker

As expected, the back end of that set was a little more perfunctory. But Sam played well. The rallies were well-constructed; she hit winners; served pretty well. The other player was slightly better. It happens

Still capable of competing with players in the top 150 and was very unlucky not to beat Baptiste who will be a top 50 players soon in Australia.

Katie broke for 4*-3 had setpoints at 5-3* before eventually claiming the first set 6-4, and has an early break in the second to lead 3-1
