Doubles
L16:- Sofia Shapatava (GEO) / Emily Webley-Smith (GBR) CR581 (329+252) v Melania Delai (ITA) / Bojana Klincov (SUI) UNR (483+UNR) [WC]

Unlucky not to be seeded as I make the combind rankings of the fourth seeds exactly the same (based on the rankings at 17/01) - and on today's rankings Em and Sof are ahead. They may meet in the QF anyway.
On-site entries take the top two seedings though.

Oddly they are above the equal ranked pair on the entry list. But they are scheduled to meet in the QF anyway if they make it.

Katie not in action tomorrow.

I reckon they should have the seeding by virtue of Em's ranking. Not that it matters, as the draw turns out.

Second set got a little sticky, the young wildcards serving for it and then saving a match point to get into the breaker, but Em and Sofia steamroll the tiebreak to win 6-4 7-6(1), and will play the 4th seeds.

It was looking tight for a while, but they came back from 6-4 *3-5 to take the second set and the match in a tie-break.

L16:- Sofia Shapatava (GEO) / Emily Webley-Smith (GBR) CR581 (324+238) def Melania Delai (ITA) / Bojana Klincov (SUI) UNR (483+UNR) [WC] 6-4 7-6(1)

With updatd rankings as of 31/01/22
QF:- Sofia Shapatava (GEO) / Emily Webley-Smith (GBR) CR562 (324+238) v Isabelle Haverlag (NED) / Justina Mikulskyte (LTU) CR570 (321+249) [4]

The second seeds lost, and the top seeds are a set down ............

Katie not finding it easy against Stevanovic today. There have been nine breaks of serve in seventeen games, but she does lead 6-3 *4-2 now

R1: SWAN, Katie (GBR) 219 def STEVANOVIC, Natalija (SRB) 271 6-3 6-2

R2: SWAN, Katie (GBR) 219 (CH=163 2018) v ANDRIANJAFITRIMO, Tessah (FRA) (6) 184 =CH

The scorecard is showing Tessah as having won but it is frozen at 6-4 6-6, so I am assuming she has actually won.

The scorecard is now showing that Tessah lost the second set tie-break 7-3, was 1-0 in the decider, and match completed as a win !
Something is up with their data connections this week, as there have been several weird scorelines showing.

Edit:- Well Tessah won the third set 6-1 eventually.

Did Katie play her R1 and R2 matches back to back?
