All quite comprehensive today - Toby Samuel looks like he might have a grass court game based on the results, although i havent seen him play.

Good for the womens to get a top seeded final!

I think both Samuel and Paris would value the QWC Play Offs spot this event offers, presumably Freya and Eliz would both be in that anyway?

Freya and Eliz are GB #17 and #20. They should both be near the top of the QWC playoff entry list, so presumably are playing here for the practice on grass (and the £1500/£850 prize money !)

And it's Josh Paris who beats Toby Samuel in two sets, and gets the nice pay cheque and wild card play off place.

North Oxford next week. A Grade 2 on grass, featuring plenty of juniors

He's got his Wimbledon Qualis wildcard as U18 champion already but it's not the best start for Luca Pow...... he's just lost in the first round of the grass British Tour at North Oxford - lost 3-6 4-6 against a qualifier Max Relic .....

Louis Bowden, Henry Searle, Alex Okonwko and others all won - lots of other good juniors there this week, as the addict mentioned above

Even more pronounced in the women's - Mimi is top seed with Hephzibah as second seed - and lots of others too

Very sensible - obviously getting grass practice before junior wimbly....

Great minds, and all that, the addict

ALthough I think Will Jansen has withdrawn, no? The draw has a lucky loser in the slot for top seed.

Will be curious to watch Sally P - I thought she had a good game for grass and she's been in the States for a year now, I believe.....

Pleased to see Alex Okonkwo doing well - just put out the third seed.

Louis and Henry also won and that sets up a strong bottom half of the draw.

Similar in the women, Mimi and Hep came through, as did Given in a MTB over Allegra.

Also, Sally won, as did Jaqui O, Serena Manca, Lauren Bishop and Amelie Brooks

Girls:

Mimi won her QF and then got given a Walkover by Given into the final.

In the other half, Jaqui O beat Hep by 7-6(2) 1-6 7-6(8)

and will play Sally P. in the other semi - as said above, Sappy has a decent game on grass.....
