Here we go - 24 players split between 3 groups of 8. 

Top 2 plus ties go through. Any player getting no votes will be eliminated regardless. 

Vote will close at 5 pm Monday evening

Still puzzles me how Jo can be entered for player of the month when she hasn't actually achieved anything on court.

Plenty of great achievements overall, yes, and a title this year, but not in this month, and she has a nomination in the POS wikdcards thread.

 I think I nominated (but didnt vote for her) on the basis of recognising her career in the month she retired. Rightly or wrongly, it seems a few folks have chosen to vote for her!!

I actually nominated Jordanne Whiley prior to Jo for the same reason and I see one person has voted for Jordanne as well in her group.

I suspect it wont be enough support to win JoKo or Jo W the PoM itself though although it does look like she could make the final! Rightly or wrongly!!

OK, a 'friend' who has no time for Jo (we don't agree, we're friends about other stuff) said he thought Jo was nominated, and all the anti-Jo people are voting for Jo, as player of the month because it's great news that she's finally resigned !

I assume that's a joke CD? The fact is that Jo has a very loyal following, which is hardly surprising given the success she had during her career, and her fans will vote for her whenever the possibility arises. I've no doubt she'll get votes in the POTS poll as well.
