As Indy says re points - and to add to the politics of it all, the ATP Cup which is similar format and structure does have ATP points and a fair few of them at that - winning the ATP Cup unbeaten gives you akin to winning an ATP500 event points, give or take, I recall?

Excited for this afternoons quarterfinal. Hope Dan brings his game against Koepfer - if so we should win the match. Think that one is key. But all 3 could be very close matches

Dan well on top at 6-2 4-1 with two breaks this set. Excellent start - no mention why they selected Gojowzyk over Koepfer, Goj. did reach the last 16 in US Open so perhaps they felt he could hurt Dan more as opposed to the steady eddie game of Koepfer.

Either way, its working out fine for GB!
