All I know about Aidan is that he's Scottish and his parent(s) is/are doctors (i.e. either his mum is, or his dad is, or both).
And he goes by Aidy.
I remember seeing him, age 17 or so. And loving his feel for the ball, the net play, the backhands.
But he was very slight, and small.
My feeling was that he'd have done better going to college and waiting a few years to go pro.
But each to their own.... and what do I know.....
Was he one of those that Andy Murray offered to help, a sort of mentoring scheme? I am sure that I read that a while ago but not sure if thats still the case?

Seems to be establishing himself well at Challenger level now. I've heard a lot about his feel for the ball, am wondering though if he needs more weapons and a match winning shot to progress much further? Especially given his recent failure to convert numerous match points against Kozlov.

So Aidan's year saw him finish the year as GB#9. Below is a breakdown of how he put together his 143 points.
Aidan's points came from 8 countries, with the US proving to be most fruitful, although his two wins came in the Dominican Republic and Singapore.
His points split almost evenly between ITF and Challenger events. However in the 2nd half of 2021, the majority have came from Challenger events a reflection perhaps of his efforts to push on, and move up a level.
