We've got Spain and Kazakhstan. Not ideal, but then we would be outsiders against most teams (maybe a Barty-less Australia would have been a good one to get).
Draw link above - assuming she plays in Glasgow, Rybakina being in the Wimbledon final makes her playing , potentially, Emma Rad an attractive proposition for the fans/media etc. So, from that perspective an interesting draw.
Ironically, we have the Kazakhs in both this and also the Davis Cup in Glasgow as well - look out for pull out guides to Kazakhstan nearer the time!

Rybakina missed the 2019 tie against us . One assumes Putintseva will be back. Diyas who was born in Kazakhstan seems to have disappeared from the scene. I wonder what the price of tickets well be for the Cup?

Diyas is out injured for the rest of 2022 as per her Instagram (23 June)
Not sure if we had a finals thread but to say, Swiatek has pulled out of Glasgow finals - the powers that be have the wta finals finishing a day before Glasgow starts , literally half a world away, and six hours time difference and Swiatek has rightly called them out on it
That is known and the schedule for the group ties is already out. Your ticket covers a full day on either Centre or Court 1 (the second being much cheaper). Two ties, one starting at 10am, one at 4.
I'd say less than 50 tickets have been sold for the UKs tie on Kazakhstan looking at the seat map compared to when I got the pre sale email from the LTA last Wednesday.
