Vacherot was about ATP 1600 a couple of months ago.

And he played some 15k, as a qualifier, struggled but managed to come though qualis, and then went on to win the next five matches and take the title.

It's true he used to be better ranked, so he was a bit under-ranked at 1600. But he's not a really 'scary' player.

Not really too much of an issue - concentrate on the singles, Ryan:

SF: Boris Butilija & Ivan Mikhaylyuk (SRB/RUS) CR 3051 (1501+1550) def. Joshua Paris & Ryan Storrie CR 2073 (1052+1021) 7-5 6-3

And at least they've got SF dubs points

I was confident that Vacherot was quite beatable - but that's a very clean score.

Well whatever the result of tomorrows final I am so very proud of my grandson Ryan after his two major surgeries and his great determination to regain his fitness.Good luck Ryan !
