Katie a bit wild at times but strikes some nice backhand winners in the second half of the tiebreak to win it 7-6(4). Sam is having a mare, if she played anything close to her level in New York she'd have been quite comfortable today, but just all over the shop.

Katie through 7-6(4) 6-2. After saving the set point at *5-6 she played a bit better. Did enough but not great.

Poor Bektas has just lost 12 games a row having had a point for a set and 5-0...
