From whaat I can see Harriet didn't make qualies (along with paractically all the potential USO qualifiers. WTA and ATP have certainly left players below 100 to hang out to dry, hopefully she gets a doubles spot.

How big is the qualies draw ? The tennis teen site implies 8 players but Im sure that cant be correct? Although I see others have discussed this on another thread, so must be correct

Information on this tournament is so hard to find at the moment - the WTA website has nothing. And the Cincinnati draws haven't been updated yet, although at least the order of play is there.

It is 8, 2 of which are wildcards, just appalling. I suppose it's possible all hell has broken loose and there are moves to increase the draw size, hence the lack of information but that might be more wishful thinking on my side. No doubles draw but there is an argument that doubles draw should be reserved for playeers not in MD or QD.
Thanks emmsie - I'll look up the doubles later and get the rankings. Perhaps when the WTA have woken up after their weekend lie-in.
Sorry very lazy of me but if I'm honest I'm not sure if there is much benefit to doubles rankings. Harriet and Caroline are 3rd seeds. Only place I could find the draw was on the WTA app, it doesn't appear on the main WTA site!!
Probably not quite so relevant at this level, where a lot of the entries are based on singles rankings, but more so when there are specialist doubles players in the draw.

Agreed, I can see the benefit for singles and top level doubles but when its' a doubles draw like this where there are unlikely to be doubles pairings, just a mishmash of players looking for court time, I don't really see the relevance and it's such a ballache checking the rankings and making sure it's their doubles ranking, not their singles ranking that I decided to give it a pass. Apologies to anyone that likes the info and isn't a lazy arse like me. It took me long enough to hunt down the draw, ended up having to delete an app on my phone to fit the WTA app on there just to access the draw.
At least she's there. It's also Chicago W125 Peter.
Now corrected. As soon as I type the W of "Week" the computer guesses what I am going to type. I then have to pick from a selection that it offers and then type or pick and drop the correct info. Unfortunately I forgot to pick and drop the venue info, brain not quite in gear late at night.
